Twenty years of the same corner.
Starz has been on the front corner of Centro Plaza since 2006 — long enough that regulars order without looking and long enough to have earned a full refurbishment.
What we cook
The kitchen never picked a country. There’s Swedish skagen toast and a Swedish hot dog, a proper English breakfast, a Mexican chilli con carne, a Japanese katsu curry, a Greek salad, and a 200g prime beef burger — all coming out of the same pass, all day.
That sounds like indecision until you eat here on a Saturday: a table of four where nobody wants the same thing, and everybody gets what they wanted. Breakfast runs until midday, the rest of the menu runs until we close.
Eggs are organic. Bread is sourdough multi-seed. The hash browns, the bolognese and the cakes are made here. Juices are squeezed when you order them.
Where we are
Centro Plaza, on Avenida de Manolete, right in the middle of Nueva Andalucía. The bullring is behind you, Puerto Banús is a five-minute walk down the hill, and the centre has its own free parking — which in this part of Marbella is the whole argument.
On Saturdays the Puerto Banús street market sets up alongside, and the terrace turns into the best seat in Nueva Andalucía for watching it happen. Come before eleven if you want one.
